San Jose Summer Program FAQ

Question 1: Will there be transportation for day students to go to program daily?
As this is a day program, we do not provide transportation or living arrangements.
Question 2: How much is the tuition for the summer camp, and is scholarship and sibling discount offered?

We offer a $100 scholarship to students who are USA(J)MO qualifiers or MathCounts national qualifiers during the current or previous academic year. This scholarship will be given to enrolled students at the beginning of the program. For details, please visit here
We do not offer sibling discount.
Question 3: Is lunch included in the program?
Lunch is included for full day program students. If a half-day program student wants to have lunch, please contact email@example.com for special arrangement. The lunches are provided by the licensed food service.
Question 4: What do students do during lunch time (besides eating lunch)?
Students have lunch first. After the lunch, they have some recreational activities (tag football, playing varies card games and board games. All activities are under staff supervision.
Question 5: Is there a placement test prior the program? If so, when and where is the placement test?
We work with enrolled students on placement/placement test recommendations during late June to mid July. Some students will be asked to take a placement test prior the program starts. The placement test usually will be held on the weekend before the our summer program starts. We offer two or three time blocks (typically, in the evening of the Friday and the afternoon of the Saturday of that weekend). Actual test time and place will be related to the students who are asked to take the placement via emails.

The following is the schedule of a typical day with class:
